'Student Internship' at Monash Uni is a 3-month program during summer from December-February. In association with the industry, we select highly meritorious students who have completed  minimum 2 years of their studies. These students are generally equipped with the IT skills such as Information Systems  Analysis and Design, Object Oriented Design and Programming, Database design, Web Design, Networking, automatic scripting languages and many more. The students selected for this program will be working full time for the industry for 3 months and contributing directly to the development projects of the sponsoring industry. In addition to gaining valuable industry experience, the students would also earn six
credit points, equivalent to studying a formal unit. It is required that students enrol for the FIT3500 unit, as a part of this Internship.

This summer,  the following industries have come forward with Internship positions  to GSCIT students.

- Australian Paper, Maryvale (confirmed)

- International Power, Hazelwood (to be confirmed)

- Yallourn Evergy (to be confirmed).
