Wireless Multimedia Sensor Network |
|
Wireless Multimedia Sensor Network(WMSN) is emerging as new dimension on multimedia communication. With the advent of new applications in this field, application specific network resource management and scheduling have become imperative. Bound with remarkable number of constraints, sensor nodes should be designed to cater to application demands from the perspective of delay, node energy, path diversity, error rate, data resolution, queue management, channel access contention and so on. This is the key point of dealing with QoS in WMSN, to harvest best from network. We will deploy cross layer approach to handle QoS. Preliminary work on non-uniform channel access probability distribution has shown better success rate in CSMA based channel access mechanism. |

Mr Miraz Al-Mamun graduated from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2005. After that he joined Grameen Phone, a Mobile operator in Bangladesh and worked for seven months. Later, he joined Banglalink, another Mobile Telecom Operator, in the Core Networking department. He dealt with Network Routing, Subscriber Database Administration, Call Quality Management and other relevant works. He was with Banglalink for two and a half year. He was enrolled in M.I.T. program and planning to upgrade to PhD. He have sheer interest in Networking, Switching, Routing, QoS management in IP and ATM. |
