The menu item, Prescribed Summer 2006, S1 2007 and S2 2007 provides details of the textbooks for all units taught by GSIT. These books are referred to in unit study material and are required in order for students to complete reading and assessment requirements. The current semester textbook lists can be viewed outside the Monash Bookshop on the Gippsland Campus. Students are advised to purchase your textbooks early.

Textbooks may be purchased from the Bookshop on campus where students may receive a discount on the price. Other Monash Bookshops may carry the texts for this campus. The Student Union runs a second hand textbook service, but please be sure that you are buying the correct edition of a text if you do buy a used book. The other menu item, Recommended Reading S1 2007 and S2 2007 provides additional textbooks that are recommended for additional support.  Students are not required to purchase these textbooks.  You will find copies of the recommended textbooks (or similar type textbooks) in the Monash Libraries.
