What is the difference between my AuthCate and Novell accounts?

Your Authcate account is used to access things such as external webpages (proxy server), my.monash, email and GSCIT unit pages. This is the main account that you will use.

The Novell account is only used by on campus students to log onto the computers in the labs.

1. What is the difference between the ITS CD and the GSCIT Resource CD?
2. Why do I get an "Authentication Failed" message when I try to access my GSCIT unit page?
3. I did not receive all of the study materials for my unit, how do I get these resent?
4. When I attempt to post to the newsgroup I get the following error. "Your article has NOT been posted to classes.it.gscit.gco9800.2004-sem2.notices." How can I resolve this so I can post to the newsgroup?
5. The message "Outlook Express was unable to retrieve all the headers from newsgroup 'classes.it.gscit.gco.....'" appeared when I tried to access the newsgroupd for my subject. How do I fix this?
